On November 24, 2019, the finals of the 16th Electronic Science University Zhongshan College Freshman Debate Competition was successfully held. Attorney Zheng Jingxia and Dr. Tu Yuwei, our partners and director of the Marriage and Family Department, were invited to participate in the finals as judges. The competition also invited Mr. Liang Wensheng, Mr. Ma Changgui from Zhongshan University, and Wang Chenfan, the captain of the debate team of the School of Humanities and Student Representatives, as judges.
In the finals, the debate is about whether the diploma can represent the level of knowledge in today's society. The debaters of both sides have a clear position and reason, and their powerful logical thinking ability, language organization ability and adaptability are fully reflected, especially in the free debate session, the debate between the two parties reaches a peak, you come and go, and don’t give in to each other. The atmosphere at the scene quickly increased, and the audience watched breathlessly or applauded again and again, fully demonstrating the qualities of college students and on-the-spot contingency. In the end, the Faculty of Law won the championship with one vote. Zheng Jingxia, a partner of our firm, presented the award to the champion team, and Dr. Tu Yuwei presented the best debater.
