From September 19th to 20th, 2019, the 2019 "Cross-strait Youth Lawyers Forum" hosted by the Hong Kong Bar Association will be held in Hong Kong. Lawyer Huang Jiazhu, a partner of our firm, was invited to participate as a representative of Zhongshan City.The theme of this forum is "Reviewing and Prospecting-Achieving a New Generation of Law in Greater China", which attracted more than 300 lawyers from 33 bar associations across the Taiwan Straits. First, Ms. Peng Yunxi, President of the Hong Kong Bar Association, gave a welcome speech at the opening ceremony; then, Mr. Huang Huichong, the Legal Policy Commissioner of the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr. Sheng Leiming, Vice President of the All China Lawyers Association, and the Taiwan Bar Association Mr. Lin Kunxian, the vice chairman of the Federation, and Ms. Li Jinyue, the director of the Macau Bar Association, as representatives of the four places on both sides of the strait, warmly congratulated the forum and delivered speeches.
During the forum, lawyer representatives visited the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, and experienced the local judicial trial culture on the spot, and discussed topics such as "wealth management and trust services", "innovative technology intellectual property", and "new generation of international dispute resolution". And exchange.
This forum has established a good communication platform for young lawyers from both sides of the Taiwan Straits. Through on-site learning and face-to-face sharing, the development trend of the lawyer industry in different regions, how to achieve a new generation of Greater China Law, and the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area" strategy Mr. Huang has a deep understanding of relevant hot topics, such as opportunities, and clearly clarified his responsibilities and responsibilities in achieving a new generation of law in Greater China.
